Re-Color Your Own Car By Using Adobe Photoshop CS series

1st of all, take a pic of your own car or you can take a sample of pic from internet (just for a sample). For this lesson, i will use a pic of mine :

1. Open Adobe Photoshop CS series
2. Open the car image file to Adobe Photoshop CS series
3. Press D on your keyboard to get default foreground and background colors


4. Choose Quick Mask Mode Button

5.Double click on Quick Mask Mode Button that the option window will appear
6. Choose Selected Areas and for the Opacity Color choose 50%


7. Click Ok
8. Choose Brush Tool and set the brush size as needed


9. start to selecting the area of your "Car"
10. to help your work, use navigator tool to zoom and focus to select specific parts of your car

P.S. : to open the navigator tool, click Window menu and choose Navigator option

11. If you have selected too much, choose erase tool and make sure your foreground and background colors are default black and white then erase unwanted area


12. if it is done, the car will be looked like this :


13. Then Click Quick Mask Mode Button to make selection line


14. Click Image Menu, choose Adjustments then choose Hue/Saturation


15. Click on Colorize

16. And Choose the color you want by dragging the number of hue and saturation (for example, mine --> Hue : 360, saturation : 80, and the lightness : -40)

17 here is the result : (to eliminate the selection line press CTRL + D on your keyboard)
